「aka」是「also known as」的縮寫，中文意思是「也就是；又作為；又名」，用於連接兩個對等的人、事、物。例如：「倫敦，aka 霧都，是英國的首都。」(London, aka the city of fog, is the capital of the United Kingdom.)。
要注意的是，「aka」的正確寫法是不在字母之間加上英文逗點，寫成「a.k.a.」是錯誤的。
